Case Study: Personal Painting Projects
Overview:
My personal projects explore self-expression through both acrylic and oil painting. Beginning in 2022, I used acrylics to capture moments from travel and daily life. Over time, this evolved into a deeper study of technique, emotion, and realism through oil painting.
Process:
Initially, I focused on reinterpreting photographs of meaningful places, learning composition and light through experimentation. In 2024, I assisted an oil painting instructor in my hometown, which allowed me to refine my craft under professional guidance. Through collaboration and critique, I expanded my technical range, experimenting with texture, color blending, and atmosphere.
